Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Outdoor Pillar Candles are made of plastic with a matte finish. The edge is molded to look like a real candle being burned. Each candle takes 2 D Batteries (purchased separately). When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours.
